Static pressure reset control strategy for roof fans in centralized cooking exhaust systems

Excessive static pressure and inadequate flow rate at each terminal of the centralized cooking exhaust systems contribute to poor indoor air quality in kitchens. Roof fans can improve ventilation performance system, but optimal control strategy for roof is currently unavailable. This paper proposes a reset variable frequency operation that follows law normal distribution simultaneous operating rate. The effect fan on system with multiple power sources range hoods investigated. relationship between appropriate set point determined using experimental simulation methods. results show proposed has improved significant potential energy savings.
